The Galaxy 2R features one ram for compressing recyclable material against a fixed wall and a second ram for ejecting the finished bale. The heavy-duty design of the bale chamber and the full-penetration compaction ram enable the GALAXY 2R to produce high density bales. The programmable controller makes it easy to switch between recyclable materials, while an optional metals package makes the Galaxy an ideal solution for non-ferrous scrap applications. In addition, the automatic tier enables the operator to control the number of ties applied to a bale, making the Galaxy 2R ideal for PET, HDPE and other plastics baling operations where doubling of the straps or ties is required.
